Historical Society to Start a New Book Club

The Historical Society of Quincy & Adams County is starting a new book club.  The club will meet in the historic Governor John Wood Mansion on the first Thursday of every month.  The first meeting will be held on Thursday, February 2 at 7 p.m. at the Mansion at 12th & State in Quincy.  An interesting aspect of the new club is the chance to meet every author.  If you love history, this is the perfect book club for you.

The two books chosen for February are by WWI authors Dr. Chris McDonald and Dr. Ross Kennedy.  You can meet the WWI authors on February 25.  You can purchase the books at the History Museum or the Mansion Visitor's Center or get one yourself for your Kindle or iPad.
