Historic Quincy Business District to Hold Annual Meeting and Recognition Dinner

Travis Brown, the Executive Director of the Historic Quincy Business District, announced that the organization will be holding its 36th Annual Meeting and Recognition Dinner on Wednesday, January 22 at the State Room (434 S 8th Street) at 6 p.m. There will be a social beginning at 5:30, dinner at 6 and the program will begin at 6:45.

During the dinner, HQBD officials will talk about the work that has been completed from the 2011 Strategic Plan, highlight some of the 16 new businesses that opened within the district last year (which is a net gain of 4), and look forward to developments that will occur within the district in 2014.

The dinner will also recognize businesses, organizations and individuals in each of the HQBD Pillar Committees: Organization, Economic Development, Design, and Promotion; as well as Volunteer, New Business and Business of the Year awards.
