The Adams County Health Department will be holding their Drug Take Back program on October 24, which is also National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. From 10 am to 2 pm, you can drop off any unused, outdated, or unwanted medicine to be disposed of correctly, and most importantly the program keeps drugs off of the streets. Items that will not be accepted at this event are syringes, needles or other sharps and liquid medications.

The Adams County Health Department is reminding everyone that comes to the drug take back event to wear a mask and social distance by maintaining a distance of 6 feet between persons.
