The Salvation Army will serve a free community Christmas dinner on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The dinner will be held in the gymnasium at The Kroc Center at 405 Vermont Street.

For those needing a ride, transportation will be provided to The Kroc Center. Meals will also be delivered to shut-ins. Those who need a meal delivered or need transportation should call The Salvation Army at 217-231-5626 by 12 noon this Wednesday, December 18.

Anyone wishing to donate a dessert for the Christmas dinner is asked to bring them to The Kroc Center between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24.

Volunteers interested in helping serve the Christmas meal should contact The Kroc Center at 217-231-5626. Please leave a message with your name and the number of people volunteering.  Names will be accepted through this Wednesday, December 18.
