Hannibal’s Pedal Power Returns January 5

Just one day a year, the Admiral Coontz Rec Center throws open its doors to let kids bring in their pedal-powered vehicles for a day at the races. The sixth annual Pedal Power event is Jan. 5 at the Rec Center on Warren Barrett Dr. in Hannibal.

This is a great time for kids to take their new tricycles they found under the Christmas tree out for a test drive. The building will be open from 10 a.m. until noon for youngsters ages 2-6 to ride their trikes, bikes, big wheels and any other pedal-powered forms of transportation.

Parents as Teachers will have other interactive play available, plus ideas of how to entertain your kiddos with inside play when the weather turns bad. Call 573-221-0154 for more information.
