The Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 30, is Small Business Saturday.  It's a time to shop at the small business that in turn support our communities and give our towns character.  In Hannibal, you'll find the festive atmosphere to get you into the Christmas spirit.

All day in downtown Hannibal on Nov. 30 you can score special deals at from the downtown merchants in the historic district and take in the Festival of Lights Christmas window displays.

10 a.m.-4 p.m.:  Christmas Extravaganza Headquarters at Java Jive

10 a.m.-8 a.m.:  Ornament painting party at Open Door Studio

11:a.m.-2 p.m.:  99 and Under Art Sale at Hannibal Arts Council

11:a.m.-4 p.m.:  Free visits with Santa and pictures at Santa Claus House

1 p.m.-3 p.m.:  Free wine tasting at Chocolaterie Stam

1 p.m.-3 p.m.:  Mark Twain birthday celebration at Mark Twain Museum

3 p.m.:  Beard and Mustache Contest at Mark Twain Museum

5 p.m.-dusk:  Tree Lighting Ceremony at Boyhood Home Stage

6 p.m.-9 p.m.:  Christmas Light Show at Mark Twain Dinette
