With Spring upon us and the weather getting warmer, the Hannibal Parks & Recreation Department has announced weekday hours for the Ramp Park.

Starting next Monday, April 3, the Ramp Park at Huckleberry Park will be open from 3:45 p.m. to dark on weekdays, weather permitting. The weekend hours for the Ramp Park are currently noon to dark.

The Ramp Park opened for the season in March, but only for weekends. The park is for roller skates, roller blades, skateboards, bicycles and scooters. The cost is $2 on weekdays and $3 on weekends. An annual pass costs $35.

Users are required to wear helmets. Users are required to have a signed waiver and release of liability on file. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver.

This will mark the 12th year of the Ramp Park's existence. The almost 9,000 square foot concrete facility is manned by an attendant on duty during all operating hours. For more information, go to www.hannibalparks.org or call 573-221-0177 (Ext. 212).
