In a press release, Hannibal School Superintendent Susan Johnson announced Quentin Hamner has been placed on a paid leave of absence from all his duties while the district investigates a personnel matter.

Johnson said the district had received information that, if true, could impact Coach Hamner’s employment and a review is underway.

Hamner was suspended from teaching and coaching back in August when he was arrested in connection with an incident in Clark County.

The charges against Hamner were dropped and he was reinstated.

Assistant Coach Jason Noland will serve as interim head coach during the review.
