Registration is now open for leisure, intermediate and competitive doubles pickleball beginning Sept. 10 in the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center.  The leagues will play Tuesday nights Sept. 10-Oct. 15 and there will be a Competitive Tournament on Oct. 22.

There are 24 spots available and registration ends Sept. 3 or until the spots are filled. Registration is available at the Hannibal Parks & Recreation office at City Hall, 320 Broadway. Registration is $35 per team.

Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two, three, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated  ball, similar to a wiffle ball, over a net.
