Hannibal-LaGrange University has made a “just in case” loan to Hannibal Regional Hospital.

Citing the desire to provide assistance to their clinical partner in their time of need, officials with HLGU’s Craigmiles School of Nursing announced Tuesday the school is loaning many of their supplies and all of their hospital beds to Hannibal Regional.

The school donated all the nursing program’s personal protective equipment, including masks, gloves and gowns, along with 18 hospital beds.

Hannibal Regional officials say they will use the beds to set up additional patient care areas in case the need arises.
