The Hannibal Jaycees will hold their annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 5th.  The theme this year is “A Christmas Story.”  The Jaycees hold this event each year in the hopes of making some child’s dream come true. This year’s toy collection will benefit the Douglass Community Center’s Adopt-A-Family Program and the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree.

The parade will start at 10th & Broadway in downtown Hannibal at 6:00 p.m.  Check-in is at the top of Broadway in the Save-A-Lot parking lotThe entry fee for the parade is one new, unwrapped toy donation.

Once again, the Hannibal Jaycees would like this to be a great success! Anyone may participate in the annual parade; however, they ask NO SANTAS, PLEASE.  We only allow one Santa in our parade.

You can also give back to your community by bringing a new, unwrapped toy donation.  Whether as a bystander or as a participant in the parade, Santa will be happy to greet you and accept your charitable donation. Just call out, “Santa!” and he will be there!

Visit www.hannibaljaycees.org to download an entry form.  The form can be mailed to PO Box 484, Hannibal, Missouri 63401.  They also will be taking entries during check-in for the parade in the Save-A-Lot parking lot. Don’t forget to bring a new toy donation!  For questions, please contact parade chairman, Jamie Sue Bergheger by calling (573) 822-4591 or emailing ejbergheger@yahoo.com.
