The Mark Twain Memorial Lighthouse sits atop Cardiff Hill, on 10 acres of park land. 244 steps lead to the lighthouse.  For those that can't take that many steps, a back entrance is available off Cardiff Hill Drive. Handicapped accessible parking is also available. Even though thousands of tourists visit the lighthouse each year, interior tours are not offered, due to structural concerns.
