Hannibal Alliance for Youth Success

The Hannibal Alliance for Youth Success organization will host a presentation for parents called Social Media Safety. This program will be held in the Hannibal High School Cafeteria  from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20.

Cpl. Jonathan Borgmeyer of the Hannibal Police Department, Daren Powell, Assistant Superintendent of Hannibal Public Schools, and Jonathan McCammon, Technology Director of Hannibal Public schools, will present the information. Topics will include information on all types of social media that teens are using such as Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, KIK, and false-front apps.

Information will also be provided on how parents can use apps to monitor students online activity and location.
