The Standing Bear Council will host their annual Winter Gathering and the 7th annual Great River Eagle Days this weekend at the Oakley-Lindsay Center. The public is invited to honor Native American traditions with a variety of sacred ceremonies and entertainment features including dances, art work and drumming with majestic costumes, culture and traditions.

Bald Eagles will be present all weekend for close up viewing from Dr. Drew Kaiser’s Raptor Rehabilitation Center. The traditional blessing of the eagle ceremony on Sunday at 10:30 am. Vendors and food booths will be on site. Admission is $5 for those 12 and over and $3 for seniors.
