George M. Irwin Student Art Award Nominations Being Accepted

There is a tremendous amount of artistic ability in our area including art work made by high school students. It is with that in mind that Arts Quincy is requesting nominations for the 2018-19 George M. Irwin Student Art Awards!

These awards recognize outstanding students in grades 9-12 who have demonstrated exceptional talent and accomplishments in the fine arts. The awards will be given to recognize excellence in one of six different categories.  Those categories include Visual Arts, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, Theater/Performing Arts, Dance and Creative Writing.

Award Criteria includes: academic success, community service and extra-curricular involvement. Anyone may propose a candidate for an Arts Quincy Student Arts Award, however it is highly recommended that the nominee be nominated by a non-relative such as school personnel, a coach or instructor.
