All students enrolled in the Hannibal School District--even students who are learning virtually at home--will get two free meals a day. This could last the rest of the year as long as the funding lasts.
The free meal service starts next Monday, Oct. 12. It includes one breakfast and one lunch per school day, Monday through Friday. Enrolled in-seat students will be provided meals on school days during regular meal service times.

Carryout meals that will include one breakfast and one lunch for the students who are learning at home through the Pirate Virtual Academy will be available for pick-up at the Hannibal Middle School, from 11:30 until 12:30 daily. The meals must be pre-ordered weekly either by calling Food Service at 573-221-2378 or online by clicking here.

The preordering of pickup meals begins on Wednesday. Meals must be preordered for the next week, each Thursday by 10 a.m. Each order will need to detail each enrolled child's name, grade, and dates that meals will be picked up.

The Hannibal School District encourages parents who have not already completed a free/reduced meal application for the 2020/2021 school year to do so.

If funding is not available beyond December 31, officials state the school will return to its normal food service program in January and students will be charged for meals unless they qualify for free meals.
