The warmer weather is here, and when you combine that with the number of COVID-19 cases in our area dropping plus the number of vaccines being administered going up, it means we can once again expect to enjoy some free lunchtime entertainment here in the Gem City!

Concerts in the Plaza is returning here in 2021, and they have just announced their upcoming schedule! If you don't know (or remember, its been a while) these are FREE outdoor concerts hosted by The District here in Quincy, and they happen at lunchtime in the Plaza at First Mid Bank & Trust on Maine Street between 6th and 7th streets. You just bring your own lunch, and enjoy some live entertainment on Fridays between Noon and 1:15pm! The first one is scheduled for Friday, April 30th with musician Bella Song, and then May 7th is Tim & Nolan Smith, May 14th is Pete Magliocco & Ted Holt, and May 21st is Cori Powell-Green. For more information on the return of the Concerts in the Plaza check out the Facebook event page by clicking here!

I love seeing The District in Quincy be able to get back to hosting fun events for people of the area to check out and enjoy. It will feel so nice to be able to grab form lunch from Que Town, or Thyme Square, or heck even Taco Bell and sit outside to eat and put the phone away during a lunch break again!
