Freaky Haunted Friday the 13th Trip from Quincy to Alton Set in September
The next Friday the Thirteenth is in September, and it just might be a fun one if you take advantage of a trip being organized by Brother Ed Arambasich, the chaplain for the Quincy Fire Department.
The trip involves going to Alton, Illinois via motor coach with a stop at fast Eddies in Alton for lunch, followed by a stroll into Alton's National Cemetery with haunting stories of past souls. If that is not to your liking, you can spend a few hours gambling at the Argosy Gambling Boat. It is your choice.
On the way back, the bus will stop in Grafton, Illinois. The cost is just $25 for the bus, which will leave Quincy at 9 a.m. and return to Quincy around 6:30 p.m. that night. The lunch cost will be on you (cash only). You must be 21 or older to attend. Limited seating is available.
To reserve your spo,t make a check payable to Franciscan Firefighter Ministries. For more information, call Brother Ed at 316-4335 or email him at firechaplainfd@gmail.com.
