Hannibal Rural Fire Protection District Chief Mike Dobson reports crews responded to a fire on Thornberry Road just before 7 a.m. Sunday, arriving to find the mobile home fully engulfed.

Dobson said crews were able to get the fire under control in about a half hour, but could not save the structure.

The homeowner was treated for smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported.

Firefighters determined the blaze started in the living room. They were unable to find the exact cause of the fire and ruled it accidental.
