The Quincy Exchange Club has awarded the 67th edition of the Book of Golden Deeds to Kirk Frageman who for years has volunteered his time for the Mart Heinen Booster Club and Catholic Charities. Kirk has been very active volunteering by working in the Catholic Charities food pantry and encouraging others to volunteer their time as well. Kirk also gets to spend some quality time there with his grand-kids as well as they often assist him volunteering their time with grandpa. Kirk has also been a long-time supporter of Quincy University athletics working concessions for volleyball games and running the scoreboard of the Q.U. Women’s basketball games. He has served on many boards over the years and has been involved in past Q.N.D. fund drives as well.

For many years, as an Exchange Club member, Kirk headed up the court taping for the Gus Macker Tournaments and was the Chairman for the event in year number 3 as well. He was also instrumental is running the Exchange Club's Special Olympics Basketball tournaments .

The award was officially presented to Frageman at the Exchange Club's meeting Friday at the Elk's Lodge.
