The Tin Dusters are rolling into town October 19 for one of the biggest Quincy weekends of the year. Here is everything you need to know.

Downtown Quincy will be filled once again for the 43rd annual Tin Dusters Color Run and while most of the cars will starting rolling in Friday afternoon, things really get going on Saturday.

The "Show & Shine" event takes place downtown beginning at 7:00 am on Saturday and many of the streets will be lined with the classic automobiles as people check out the vendors and shops in the area. The event will run until 2:00 pm. Later that night, patrons will be rocking the night away at the Quality Inn & Suites to the 50s and 60s music of Jukebox Reloaded.

But if you just want to check out all of the cars at once, then come out to Moorman Park on Sunday beginning at 8:00 am as they'll all be out and on display. There will be a local color guard presenting the American flag and a special guest starting the morning with the national anthem. There will be plenty of food, craft, and car part vendors in the park and awards will be handed out for various categories.

This is always a good weekend for Quincy and the surrounding area. My girls and I love going to look at all the classic cars and talking with the owners who are all VERY nice. I will see you this weekend! And it's another excuse to hit up downtown and do some shopping and grab some food too.
