Everything You Need To Know About Q-FEST

This is one of my favorite festivals, Q-FEST. The festival will take over Washington Park, and Maine Street and here's everything you need to know if your going.

The three day festival kicks of Friday at 5:30 -  9:30 pm and will feature the fine & fresh art show, the food court & Q-FEST Bar will be opened, plus it's the second concert for Blues in The District.

On Saturday, the fine & fresh art show will start at 10 am - 5 pm, there will be free kids activities throughout Washington Park, the food court will be opened, and there will be music playing throughout the day from the park gazebo. The kids activities are really for the whole family to do, create art and most activities are free. I still have the art my girls made last summer and they had so much fun.

Saturday night the fun begins at 5:30 with the street concert. Gates will open at 5:30 with a $5 cover. At 6 pm the opening act will take the stage, followed my the main event starting at 9 pm.

Sunday it all wraps up with the fine and fresh art show starting at 11 am until 4 pm, more kids activities will be available, plus music food and more.
