LaGrange Election – Every Candidate Ran Unopposed!

The LaGrange, Missouri, City Election which was held April 16, 2013 had all races unopposed. I don't think I have ever heard of this before.

Ronnie Powers, the current LaGrange mayor, ran unopposed. As did the North Ward Councilman. Edward Cox ran as a write-in for Middle Ward Councilman. In the South Ward, Lannie Henze ran unopposed due to Andy Slater's with draw from the race. No one filed for City Marshall, so that position will be vacated for the next two years.

It will be interesting to watch LaGrange, Missouri, politics in the next few years.
