Donut Hole

It's time for the big reveal from our mystery photo. Thanks to everyone that made a guess.

The above item is... a donut hole! But not just any donut hole. This particular donut hole is nearly 30 years old!

Back in the 80s, we did a contest where we launched a donut hole in a parachute out of a window of the WCU Building. We chose a donut hole because D.O. and the Big Dog would seem to meet each morning in the drive through lane of then Dixie Cream Donuts. The Big Dog would always hit the horn to make D.O. speed up his order and one day he got out of his car and threw a "hole" and hit my windshield. It didn't break the glass but this 30 year old "hole" would today, as hard as it is.

According to the Big Dog:

It stills smells a little like a donut. It's a little musty, but it still smells a little like a donut.
