If you're planning on going to the Super Bowl--and this shouldn't come as a huge surprise--it's gonna cost you. Prices seem to skyrocket every year, and 2018 is no different. I checked into ticket prices on Stubhub and nearly had a heart attack. The highest priced tickets are currently in the $60,000 to $70,000 range, which seems a bit excessive (even for the Super Bowl). Most of the high end tickets are at a slightly less insane $15,000.

So it got me thinking, what could I do with that money (if I had it) right here in Quincy? I've come up with a few ideas...

    Buy This House

I admit, this home over on North 3rd is a bit of a fixer upper. But it's an investment. Can't say that about football tickets!

    Buy 1,000 Wingfest Tickets

Wingfest 2018 is next weekend and tickets are 15 bucks a pop. Which means you could buy 1,000 tickets and hand give people a chance to eat the best wings in the Midwest.

Buy Every Ticket To A Gems Game

QU Stadium holds about 3,000 people, and tickets are usually about five bucks. You'd be able to have one heck of a party. Or simply go by yourself and eliminate the possibility of long bathroom or concession stand lines.

    Rent Out Scotties Fun Spot

Drinks, games, food, skating, mini-golf...yup I'm sold. I don't know what it would cost to buy the place out for a couple days, but I'm sure $15,000 in cash might get the conversation started. I'd have to call in sick and grab a few friends to hang out with. Who's in?

    Donate It

I mean this is an easy decision, and by far the most practical. There are so many charitable organizations that need $15,000 more than I do. It's the right thing to do.
