Dog Days of Summer is This Weekend!

Dog Days of Summer hosted by Homeward Bound Waggin is this weekend! Go out and support rescue dogs, and bring your dog to the Quincy Mall! Here is what you need to know...

Dog Days of Summer is a big fundraising event hosted by Homeward Bound Waggin, and it is this Saturday July 20th at the Quincy Mall from 10am to 4pm. It is a family fun event that lets you bring your dog inside the Quincy Mall! On the events Facebook page they list some of the events your dog can participate in or just relax and enjoy, " In the morning there will be the Doxie Derby, Puppy Rookie Races and Small Breed Mixed Breed Races. There will be a Peanut Butter Licking Contest for all shapes and sizes of dogs. Enter your dog in the musical sit / cake walk and see who gets to take home the cake! There will be vendors thru out the mall, spin the wheel and get a chance for your dog to dive in to the baby pool filled with toys. Create a keepsake paw print. In the afternoon will be the 2019 Quincy's Best Rescue Dog Competition!!! Enter your dog in as many categories as you like from Best Kisser, Best Wiggle Butt, Best Senior, Best Owner/Pet Look Alike and more. The winner of each category will compete to be named Quincy's Best Rescue Dog!"
