Last Saturday the St. Louis Cardinals wore a different home uniform when they played the Milwaukee Brewers at Busch Stadium. It was the first time in 80 years that the team wore an alternate uniform.

The new uniform features the words "St. Louis" under the birds on the bat. The long-standing uniform they have been wearing had the word "Cardinals" under the birds on the bat. They will wear the "St. Louis" jersey during home games on Saturdays during the season. The Cardinals became the 27th team in Major League Baseball to add an alternate jersey to their lineup and the fourth to use off-white.

I like the new shirt. So what do you think?
