Culver-Stockton College Is doing great things on the Hill and and in the community.

Congratulations to Culver-Stockton College for being named to the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.

“We congratulate the awardees and the students for their dedication to service,” said Wendy Spencer, CEO of the Corporation for National and Community Service. “These institutions have inspired students and faculty alike to roll up their sleeves and work alongside members of the community to solve problems and improve their neighbors’ lives.”

According to a press release from Culver-Stockton College, The Presidential Honor Roll was created to acknowledge higher education institutions for their commitment to volunteering,service and civic engagement. College students make a big contribution to their communities through volunteering and service.

“Culver-Stockton College has a long tradition of placing high emphasis on service learning. As an institution, we pride ourselves on the learning opportunities we offer, both in and out of the classroom,” said Dr. Kelly Thompson, president of Culver-Stockton College. “Recognition for a job well done is always nice, especially coming from an esteemed entity such as this. I hope our students use this honor as motivation to continue giving back to their communities long after they are finished with their time here at C-SC. ”

This is the sixth year the College has made the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.
