Ok, here we go again! Exactly one year ago to the day and just 3 hours shy of the exact hour, the Quincy area was again struck with extremely strong winds and thunderstorms. It was a storm that caused tree limbs to fall, power lines to come down leading to power outages and another round of cleanup operations. The City of Quincy, recognizing they amount of storm debris, is going to again pick up your tree limbs if you place them at the curb as soon as possible.

They will collect the storm debris through next Thursday, July 21.  After that, all yard waste will be picked by by Evans Recycling, the company contracted by the city with the usual days and guidelines in place.
