CIA opens “Black Vault” of UFO sightings

Should you prepare for an alien invasion? What’s out there in space? What was that unusual object you saw streaking through the skies? You might find some answers if you’re willing to wade through more than 2700 pages of documents complied by the CIA on UFO sightings over the years.

Oddly enough, the release of these declassified documents was tied to the COVID-19 relief bill signed by President Trump just last month. It required the director of national intelligence to submit a report on unidentified aerial phenomena. The request was granted after Freedom of Information requests from a website dedicated to UFO sightings. You can go to Black Vault to see those documents for yourself. Be prepared to see plenty of redacted pages in typical CIA fashion.

The man behind the Black Vault website says his site has had more than 30 million hits in just one day since posting the documents.
