Posted on The District’s Facebook page, the decision to cancel was under the guidance of the Adams County Health Department and The District.

We feel that we cannot in good conscience host this event due to the increasing numbers of COVID-19 under the guidance of the Adams County Health Department. We look forward to this event every year and truly believe in supporting our local vendors.

There is some good news though, it looks like there will be a chance to still purchase homemade Christmas items. There will be a Christkindl Virtual Showcase to be announced soon, with details coming within the next few weeks. This cancellation comes as no surprise as this event brings many vendors and shoppers from all over the Tri-State Area. The Christkindl Market is not the only craft show that has been canceled, the Christmas Market which was supposed to take place at the Oakley-Lindsay Center has also been canceled.

If you are a vendor or you purchased tickets for the event, you will receive an email from The District very soon.
