One of the hottest topics in the tri-state area right now is "Relentless", the documentary about the disappearance of Christina Whitaker. While I feel that it is a compelling and well-made series, I believe it unfairly paints Hannibal as a wanna-be murder capital. I'll try to explain why.
I love the internet. If not for its existence, I would be unable to travel back in time and watch completely gnarly Chicagoland commercials from 1985. Thankfully, we all can and it's a real throwback.
When I think of sharks (and I do often), I don't think of Illinois. Perhaps I should change my thinking as I've learned of at least one time when a bull shark made it all the way to Alton.
