Carnival Season is Here! What’s Your Favorite Carnival Ride?

It's probably safe to say the we've entered carnival season. There will be carnival rides at this weekend's New London Park Days, the county fairs will be beginning soon, and of course we have events like National Tom Sawyer Days and the K of C Barbecue to look forward to. As a kid, events weren't worth going to unless there were carnival rides involved. What were (or still are) your favorite rides?

I was always fond of the Tilt-a-Whirl and Scrambler. My brother, on the other hand, always got sick on those types of rides. He pretty much had to stick with riding camels and ponies. Last year, I rode the Ocotpus ride with my niece during National Tom Sawyer Days, and we had a blast (the photo below was shot from our seat on the Octopus). Those swings on the chains are really fun, too.
