Can We Bring Back the Clark Drive-In? Please?

As I blog this, the sun is shining and the weather is perfect. Makes me think of summer. I ran into one of my old friends from my hometown of Pittsfield the other day and we got on the subject of the Clark Outdoor Theater just outside of Summer Hill, Illinois.

Now you may never have been to an outdoor theater but spring and summer are coming and this would be the perfect time of year to go watch a movie outdoors. I hope some day that we can go back to the "Clark" and relive some of the old time memories where a soda was five cents and a hot dog was 10 cents. It will never happen but I do know that the man who checks on things at the drive-in says he would love to bring it back. And he says all we need is money.

Maybe some day that will happen and we can go back to the old days at least once more.
