Blessing of the Animals Takes Place Tonight at Sunset Home

The Sunset Home is holding their 1^st Annual Blessing of the Animals event tonight with the Rev. Dixie Croxton, Sunset Home’s Chaplain of Spiritual Life, conducting the blessings.  This is a community outreach event for everyone in the Quincy area to participate in. Just bring your family, neighbors, kids and your beloved pets for this special blessing which will take place at 6:30 tonight.

The service, in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi's love for all creatures, will take place at Oliver's Chapel on the second floor of the Sunset Home located at 418 Washington Street in Quincy. There will be cookies and refreshments following the service.
