The 6th Annual Autism Awareness Walk will be held Saturday, April 1, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Clat Adams Bicentennial Park. The event, sponsored by the Quincy Area Autism Support Group, will also feature a Family Services Fair highlighting area organizations that provide services specifically to specials needs families, adults, and children. This event is free to the public with no sign-up required.... just show up! A child on the autism spectrum will also win an iPad mini. Please remember to wear blue to show your support.

Participants in the Family Services Fair include: Quincy Medical Group, Transitions of Western Illinois, Special Olympics, Cornerstone, QUEST Stables, Quincy Community Theatre, Shine-A-Light on Autism, Breakfast Optimist Club, Legacy Martial Arts, Mississippi Valley Boy Scouts, author Kelly Mason and more.
