Since the pandemic hit Illinois in March of 2020, Quincy Community Theatre has continued to adapt and evolve to still bring theatre to the people of the Tri-States without having live audiences. That mission of theirs to spread theatre even during the COVID-19 pandemic continues on with the announcement of their next Student Theatre Virtual production of "Miss Nelson is Missing" with auditions in January,

Quincy Community Theatre announced on their Facebook page today that they are holding auditions for their next Student Virtual Theatre production called “Miss Nelson is Missing” the auditions are scheduled for January 25th and are for students 4th grade and older but also adults for the adult roles! They describe the show in their Facebook post as...

"Based on the book of the same name, Miss Nelson can't catch a break from her crazy, misbehaved class. But when she mysteriously goes missing-- and, worst of all, is replaced by the vile Miss Viola Swamp-- this cast of colorful classmates bands together to get to the bottom of this "elementary" mystery."

For more information on this show, and to sign up for an audition spot check out Quincy Community Theatre's website 1qct.org.

I love to hear that Quincy Community Theatre is doing another virtual production, it stinks that we in Illinois can't have LIVE theatre performances yet due to the pandemic, but any theatre is better then no theatre, and I have seen or been a part of everything Quincy Community Theatre has done since March of 2020 and it has all been successful!
