The 28th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is in the books. Many thanks to everyone for being in the parade and coming down to watch it as we finally "Ushered in Spring".  With over 100 entries, this year's parade was the biggest ever surpassing the previous record of 94 entries.

Special thanks to the City of Quincy, Central Services, the Quincy Police Department, the Adams County Emergency Management Agency and Outdoor Power for their assistance. We could not hold this parade without the help of our long time parade day lineup guys. Special thanks to Dan Ebbing, Rob Ebbing and Dave Williams for their great line up work again this year.

Little did I know walking down Maine Street 28 years ago would lead to what has become a Quincy tradition. Thank you everyone, including Mother Nature who has taken some "frigid heat" for her winter, for a great day.

See you next year on Saturday, March 14.
