Annual Wing Ding Raises $6-Thousand For Wonderland Camp
Turns out the Wing Ding was a ROARING good time for everyone! The Hannibal Jaycees and Mark Twain Distributing ended up presenting a check to Wonderland Camp for $6,000.
The mission of Wonderland Camp is to provide a fun, educational and safe camp experience for children, teenagers and adults (ages 6 and up since 1969) who have disabilities; to offer a respite from daily care-giving for their family members and caregivers; and to provide and nurture a personal development experience for volunteers and staff. Their campers tell everyone year after year that they’ve had the “time of their lives” when they’re at Wonderland Camp!
The Missouri Jaycees helped to start the camp and it continues to be near and dear to all Jaycee chapters across the state. For more information about Wonderland Camp, visit www.wonderlandcamp.org For more information about how to support or join the Hannibal Jaycees visit, www.hannibaljaycees.org
