Alan Roth to Be Honored for His Eagle Scout Project

A very special United States Flag presentation will take place this Thursday at the Sunset Apartments located at 301 North 8^th Street in Quincy. The presentation will be part of a special recognition ceremony with Sunset Apartment’s residents and staff to thank Allen Roth for his Eagle Scout Project that he built at the Sunset Apartments.

Roth, and members from Boy Scouts of America Troop 32 in Bowen chartered by Living Faith United Methodist Church built and assembled raised planting beds. The project was completed on June 1. The Sunset Home’s Reverand Dixie Croxton, Chaplain of Spiritual Life, is also the Scoutmaster for the Troop.

The celebration of the completed Eagle Project and an additional donation of a United States Flag gifted to Sunset Apartments will take place at 1 p.m.   Refreshments and cookies will be served.
