Admiral Coontz Recreation Center to Re-Open

Spring flooding has let up enough for the Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department to finally reopen the doors to the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center this week.

After finishing the clean up, the facility reopens to the public Tuesday, April 23 from its regular hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday.  Friday's hours are 7:30 to 5:00.

The Rec Center sits outside Hannibal's flood wall and spring flooding is pretty common there.  This closure lasted about a month.
