In reading Tuesday's Quincy Herald Whig, I came across a story written by Don O'Brien about The Adams County Little League. I was not even aware that there was such a league in Adams County last year, which was the league's first year. With one year and 215 players under their belt, the league will be partnering up with the Quincy Park District this spring to enhance the league.

The games will be played on Monday through Friday at four Quincy Park District parks this year with the main field being the field located at Upper Moorman Field next to The Batting Cage. The Park District will also be making improvements to that field as well beginning this spring.

Registration is currently underway and runs through March 6 for kids 9 through 13 and through April 3 for kids 7 and 8.  More information can be found at www.quincyparkdistrict.com.
