Thank you to EVERYONE who helped us put together this morning's unbelievable tribute to Dennis Oliver. Thank you for tuning in, streaming, calling, following on social media, texting, e-mailing, and even swinging by the station to say 'thank you' in person.

It was pretty clear by the constant flashing lights on our studio phone that three hours just wasn't going to cut it. A constant stream of callers and visitors, each armed with their own D.O. stories, made for an emotional farewell to our good friend.

We have a lot of photos, videos, and audio recordings to go through from the celebration, and we'll be getting them up on our site sooner than later.

Here are just a few of our favorite moments (with more yet to come)...

On behalf of Townsquare Media, our General Manager, Julie McEwen, presented Dennis with a token of our appreciation for his 40 years on the airwaves.

Mayor Kyle Moore even stopped by to deliver a proclamation and declare December 16 as "Dennis Oliver Day" in Quincy.

We all fought back tears with Dave Comer's tribute to Dennis and The Big Dog.

And as all good things do, our marathon show came to an end with a special message from Jeff "Big Dog" Dorsey and Dennis himself.

Of course this barely scratches the surface of everything that went down this morning. Again, we'll add some more videos and audio as we can. In the meantime, here are some behind the scenes shots from the morning festivities...
