A.B.W.A. to Hold a Mardi Gras Fundraising Party

If you are looking for some fun with Mardi Gras you won’t want to miss this event. The American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) will be holding a Mardi Gras dance on Saturday, March 2 at the Elks Lodge in Quincy.

Raised on Radio will be entertaining everyone from 7 to 11 p.m. For the past four years the American Business Women’s Association has sponsored the annual Dogwood Dance on the first weekend of May.  In 2019 they will replace that event with this Mardi Gras event.

The ABWA’s mission for 2019 is to adopt a charity and 10% of their profits will be given to The Blessing Breast Center.  This wonderful organization pays for mammograms for income-eligible women and also provides educational opportunities for all patients.

As businesswomen,  the ABWA believes in providing opportunities to other women and to help in whatever way they can to help them grow both personally and professionally.  The organization is hoping they can reach out to women needing assistance at the Blessing Breast Center by providing a donation from this Mardi Gras event.
