Health department officials reported 17 new coronavirus cases Wednesday.

The total number of COVID cases in Marion County grows to 993, with 130 active, three hospitalized, 849 recovered and 14 deaths.

The positivity rate for the week ended October 18th stands at 15%.

 

Along with Marion County’s 17 new COVID cases, there were 26 more new cases reported elsewhere in northeast Missouri Wednesday.

The Lewis County Health Department reported 15 new coronavirus cases, ranging in age from 10 to 50.

There have now been 300 COVID cases in Lewis County, with 53 active, 241 recovered and six deaths.

In Ralls County, there have been seven new coronavirus cases since Monday, bringing their total to 234, with 21 active, five hospitalized and 213 recovered.

And, the Clark County Health Department reported four new positive COVID cases Wednesday, age 20 to 80-plus.

There have now been 179 coronavirus cases in Clark County, with 28 active, four hospitalized, 142 recovered and five deaths.
