Area health department officials reported 28 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.

The Adams County Health Department reported 16 new coronavirus cases, bringing their case total to 7,970, with 87 active, 14 hospitalized, one in ICU and 113 deaths.

The seven-day positivity rate in Adams County remains low at 2.13%.

In Pike County, Illinois, health department officials reported ten new COVID cases. Their case total is now 1,664, with 12 active, one hospitalized and 47 deaths.

And, the Marion County Health Department reported two new coronavirus cases Tuesday, running their case total to 3,541, with 28 active, four hospitalized and 64 deaths.
