It's summertime, and for many, that means hitting the road with friends and family to see your favorite artists in concert! Whether near or far, there are definitely places to go and people to see this summer.   • Burlington Steamboat Days

    Burlington, IA (June 16-21)

    This Iowa week of music and fun seems just small enough to be a great time for locals and just big enough to attract some A-list entertainment. The event features two stages and has been drawing crowds from far and near since 1963. With this year's headliners including Three Days Grace, 38 Special, The Band Perry, and the Red Rocker himself, Sammy Hagar, a good time full of good beer and great music with great friends is just an hour or so away!   • Rockfest Kansas City 2015

    Kansas City, MO (May 30)

    This one-day Kansas City hard rock mosh-fest looks like the ideal summer show if you're a rock music fan. Headlining acts for this summer include Rob Zombie, Papa Roach, and Halestorm. For a look at some high points of the festival's past years, check out the official website.

  • Pitchfork Music Festival

    Chicago, IL (July 17-19)

    Pitchfork Music Festival has celebrated new and emerging musicians for ten years at Union Park in Chicago. Being in the middle of July, there is still ample time to prepare AND get tickets ahead of time. Acts for this tenth year will include Wilco, Chance the Rapper, and Chvrches.   • Van's Warped Tour

    Maryland Heights, MO (July 27)

    This Missouri stop on this national rock/pop festival will be letting loose some of today's hot new bands and acts on the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre (formerly the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater). Asking Alexandria, August Burns Red, and Black Veil Brides, along with ninety-one other fantastic acts will pack the multitudes of stages here.   • Lollapalooza

    Chicago, IL (July 31-Aug 2)

    There aren't many people into popular music these days who have not at least heard of Lollapalooza. "Lolla" has always featured the best of the best in pop and rock music. The festival's lineup is chock-full of A-list bands and Grammy Award winning acts. However, the headliners for the three-day party are Paul McCartney, Metallica, and Florence & the Machine.   • LouFest 2015

    St. Louis, MO (Sept. 12-13)

    To close out the summer, LouFest brings two days of good times, St. Louis culture, and great music by both regional and national acts. The Festival features bands and acts anywhere from funk to rock to soul. LouFest also features a food court of foods from different St. Louis neighborhoods; definitely a hometown festival.
