19th Annual Octoberfest Parade and Field Competition

The Octoberfest Parade and Field Competition will be held Saturday, October 18. The Parade in Quincy will travel west from 33rd and Maine Street starting at 2 p.m. The field competition will begin at 5:15 at Flinn Stadium.

Octoberfest will feature marching bands from Illinois, Missouri and Iowa. The event is sponsored by the Quincy Public Schools, Friends of the Performing Arts, and the Quincy Public Music Department. Admission if $6 and food will be served throughout the competition.

Proceeds benefit the music programs throughout the Quincy Public Schools.
