If you search YouTube for "Hannibal, Missouri," you'll find all sorts of different videos. Here are a few that stick out as particularly memorable.

  • Hannibal History Museum on Illinois Stories

I don't have a clue as to how Hannibal, Missouri got on Illinois Stories, but it's cool that we did! The show actually uploaded the entire episode to YouTube. Check out our pals Ken and Lisa Marks from the Hannibal History Museum and Haunted Hannibal Ghost Tours.

  • Skydiver and the Shortstop

Oops. That wasn't supposed to happen! During pregame ceremonies at a Hannibal Cavemen game in 2013, a skydiver collided with the Cavemen's shortstop. The shortstop actually suffered a concussion and missed the game. Video of the incident showed up on ESPN.

  • Behind the Scenes at the Jaycees Haunted House

OK, in the interest of full disclosure, I'll come clean on this. This is our video. I shot it and edited it, so it's totally self-serving that we're including it on this "best of" list, but I don't care. It was a cool assignment, and I thought it was fun to highlight just how much effort goes into putting on the Jaycees' Haunted House.

  • USA Hannibal MO 1981

I've watched this one several times. 1981 is the year I was born, so it is neat for me, personally, to be able to look back to this particular year. Some parts of Hannibal have hardly changed at all. Others are not recognizable.

  • Zombie Run!

The Hannibal Jaycees hosted their first-ever Zombie Run a few years ago. This runner not only videoed the course, but provided narration for over nine minutes. That's incredible. If it were me, I would have lost the ability to speak after about the first minute of running, and would most likely become a zombie a short time later.
