Third graders in the Quincy Public Schools are getting a chance to experience golf.

Golf professionals from the Quincy Country Club and staff from The Salvation Army Ray Kroc Corps Community Center are teaching golf for one week in each of the seven elementary schools in the Quincy Public Schools District. The program is a partnership between three parties: the Kroc Center, the Quincy Country Club and the St. Louis based Gateway PGA.

This is an excellent way to introduce the game of golf to youngsters. Each school has one session in the fall and another in the spring. For more information contact Katie Thomas at the Kroc Center at 217-222-5762.
